There are four categories of membership: 

• Associate

• Signature

• Life

• Honorary

An Artist may become an Associate by paying dues at the current rate. (see below)

After exhibiting in two juried anniversary exhibitions as an Associate within 8 years, an Artist will attain Signature Membership.

Life Membership may be purchased at the current rate by an Artist who has been active as a Signature Member for ten years.

Honorary Life Membership is available upon request for those who have reached the age of 72 and have been active signature members for 10 years.

Honorary Membership may be conferred upon any Artist by a vote of the Board of
Directors.

Only Signature and Associate Members pay annual dues.

There are more than  700 members, world-wide.

DUES

Dues of $30 are payable to the membership chairman by July I of each year. The year runs from July 1st until June 30th

ACTIVITIES

The Society sponsors one international juried exhibition annually. In addition, there are exhibitions for Signature, Honorary and Life Members, and for all members. All Members are invited to demonstrations, paint-outs, plein air painting at Winterthur Museum  gardens, workshops, an annual dinner meeting. Dinners are held in most years Other events are provided as the opportunities arise. 

The Half Sheet is a twice yearly newsletter.  

Plein air painting at Winterthur Gardens will be followed by an October exhibition at the Winterthur Museum for all members.
